We're two best mates from school who grew up playing sport, pushing ourselves, and trying to squeeze the most out of every day.
We're just regular Aussies, and like a lot of people, we know what it feels like when life gets overwhelming.
We hit a point where stress caught up with us
The reality
But eventually, we each went through periods of stress and anxiety that were hard to shake.
The realisation
As we leaned on each other for support, we realised there were everyday Aussies all over the world going through the same thing.
The idea
So we asked a simple question
What if gum could do more than just freshen your breath? What if it could help create a moment of calm when you needed it most?
That idea became the beginning of seren.
Why gum?
Support should feel simple, not complicated
Chewing gum is already associated with stress relief, so we saw an opportunity to take it one step further. We wanted something fast, convenient, and easy to reach for - whether you're at work, on campus, training, travelling, or just trying to get through a hectic day.
Then we got to work
A lot of learning, late nights, trial and error, and more gum than we'd like to admit - until we landed on a formula we were genuinely proud of, built to support real people in real moments of stress.
